”It was in shades of blue that the Portimão Museum opened the exhibition “Blue Planet” by the Algarve Artists Network last Saturday, July 5th, an exhibition with a deep sense of environmental awareness.

Under the motto “Blue Planet”, this exhibition, composed of paintings and sculptures in which shades of blue stand out, from the translucent aquamarine to the sombre and dark indigo blue, is the result of the desire of this collective of artists to showcase not only the natural beauty of the Algarve, but also to promote environmental awareness among the public for the preservation of the “water” resource in lakes, rivers, beaches and the ocean.

The Algarve Artists Network (AAN) is a group of artists, some of whom are Portuguese, and others, although resident in Portugal, are from different countries in Europe and around the world.
An exhibition that urgently demands your visit!”
